Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2024)\n\n Set in 1981, you team up with characters from previous games, including Alex Mason, Frank Woods, and Jason Hudson. Under CIA's Russell Adler, your elite team is supposed to catch a Soviet figure that goes by Perseus  who is planning to attack the United States.

As the name suggests, the events of COD: Black Ops Cold War take place during the Cold War. More specifically, the entire campaign occurs in 1981 and sees the return of some characters from the first Black Ops.
