Finishes: Colors & Stains

The film was shot on location in England, at Shepperton Studios and Black Park, Buckinghamshire. Locations in Cornwall doubled for the majority of the exterior Whitby scenes; Tintagel (for Seward's Asylum), and St Michael's Mount (for Carfax Abbey). The Castle Dracula was a glass matte painted by Albert Whitlock.

Orava Castle in Slovakia and Bray Film Studios in Berkshire transformed into the perfect setting for the latest Dracula remake. Bram Stoker's classic novel is being re-told once again in the form of a new drama series by the BBC.
