Finishes: Colors & Stains

Many of JoJo's Stands were named after famous copyrighted properties that would be a certified lawsuit for Araki once JoJo's hit the States. This led to the necessity of renaming Stands in the English dub, but their dub names are just terrible in comparison. These are referred to as localized Stand names.

Hence, they are open to protection. However, the name of the series with a fictional character is trademarked and the characters are copyrighted. For example, the name NARUTO  series has a registered trademark and all the characters such as Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha are copyrighted.
