Well-known faces like Captain Price are present in a new conflict with Russia. Set in the same year it was released, a fictional republic called Urzikstan is invaded by a Russian army.

Fast forward 8 years since the original MW3, the series received a reboot back in 2024, and the storylines have some significant changes. The Call of Duty campaigns touch on topics like War, Politics, and Power in the storylines which fans have been following for so long now.
