In one of the skewed ironies of corporate consolidation, we just got a new trailer for Spyglass's upcoming Hellraiser reboot courtesy of... Walt Disney DIS -1.1% . The film arrives on Hulu on October 7 (and on Disney+ in certain overseas territories), and the press materials came from Disney's domestic departments.

First, a few facts: the new take on the Hellraiser series isn't an adaptation of Clive Barker's 1986 novella The Hellbound Heart, but Barker is on board as a producer. The script was written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski (the pair who wrote The Night House) from a story by David Goyer.
