The ending of Black Ops II can go one of two ways, with one option having Alex Mason die. If Mason does die, one of the epilogues will have Woods and Mason's son going to Alex's grave. As of now, there is no canonical ending for Black Ops II regarding Mason, so he could have been killed in combat.

It is the twelfth entry in the Call of Duty series and the sequel to the 2012 video game Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It was released on PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on November 6, 2024.
